When we look at this verse, we understand the Kingdom of Heaven is a place where God has influence and domain over everything. A man of God is someone who selects a good field with God’s help to sow the seeds. The seeds symbolize the Word of God, and the field relates to a man’s heart. The first step toward sowing your seed is to prepare the soil. The one who sows should have a well-defined, specific field as the target for his farming. In the Bible, we see Jesus talking about the Church and the Kingdom of God. He explicitly showed us the difference in what was real and what were the false teachings in the Church, both happening at the same time. When our foundation in Christ isn’t strong, we see the product of that during harvest time. When we look at real wheat fields at harvest time, healthy wheat has a lot of produce on its head, so it bows low. The more fruit they have, the lower they bend, which demonstrates a seed of humility built in with the teaching of Jesus. However, the unhealthy wheat does not bear fruit, so it stands upright. We can know people’s hearts by their fruit.

I am so thankful God gave me the privilege of attending the Haggai Leader Experience. God has given me a vision to equip the saints for the work of the Lord, according to Eph. 4:12.
