Picture the turbulent emotions threatening the love of Joseph and Mary, his espoused wife, as she tells him about her pregnancy. Has Mary played the harlot? Should she not be stoned? In the midst of these predicaments, God shows up, not only for Mary and her baby, but for the whole world. God is still speaking to us today through His Word. Although the world has run wild, governments are not in control, there are wars and rumors of wars, and catastrophes everywhere — God says, “trust me, I am in this with you. Let us remain calm, ask God for grace to see him in our specific situations.” He is with us, Emmanuel. Even when, like Joseph, we are apprehensive, God speaks. Do not fear. He cares for you. Let’s trust Him. God is where you are.

The Haggai Leader Experience gave me a vision of equipping others to share the Gospel. Involvement with the Haggai alumni association has helped me work toward the goal of ending Gospel poverty.
