Sixteen years ago, my husband and I would pray this very prayer every night. As I underwent surgery and treatments to conceive, we prayed, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make us conceive a child.” The surgery I went through left me with a 20% chance of “natural conception.” I needed assistance to produce viable eggs, and my womb was too frail to support pregnancy. It was February 2006 when our doctor said, “You don’t have any chances of conceiving and holding a pregnancy this month. We will try again next month.” But my spirit did not receive that information. My husband and I kept praying and believing for a child. Alessandro was born eight months later on October 25, 2006. We got pregnant that very month, and his pregnancy was deemed “natural.” He is 15 years old now and loves, honors, and serves our Lord Jesus Christ. Whatever your prayer is, I can assure you, if our God is willing, He can make it happen!

The Haggai Leader Experience (HLE) has given me a broader view of the world and a specific vision of my part in ending Gospel poverty. It has equipped me in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with urgency. The HLE was a changing point in my life and experience as a Christian.
