Doctors have the principle of fighting 100% for every patient, even if their success is only 1%. This is a perfect picture of a spirit of nobility, that a doctor would stick to their values, even in a seemingly hopeless situation. As he built a congregation of followers of Christ, the Apostle Paul also had a noble value system, namely how the congregation was taught to be of one heart and willing to sacrifice for the mission, even though they were in difficult conditions. The churches of Macedonia, Philippi, Berea, and others lived this principle because they saw the life and leadership of the Apostle Paul as a candlelight in ministry. A noble leader believes 1% can motivate the other 99%. Brothers and sisters in Christ, do we believe this? Do we keep shining Christ’s light, even in complete darkness? Let’s keep moving forward in modeling Christ our Lord to end Gospel poverty.
