Growing up as a young lad in the ’60s and ’70s in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, we were blessed by many overseas missionaries from the United States and England. Many of them were pastors who preached and taught at churches. Today, we have countless Malaysian Bible teachers. Some are even missionaries to neighboring countries. We are indebted to the missionaries who came from afar who faithfully and sacrificially taught a growing church and nation. Jesus taught wherever and whenever He had the opportunity about the heavenly Father and the Kingdom of God. Like Jesus, whether we are teaching a young father to raise a godly child at home or standing behind a pulpit teaching a congregation of hundreds, let us be faithful to the Word, even when we do not know the outcome in the generations to come.
