In His Word, God established decrees, which we must fulfill, but before we can do that, we must know them and make them known. We know all God’s decrees are for good and are a blessing for His creation. And when we do not respect them, we pay the consequences. Here, the Psalmist is aware of the responsibility he has acquired, being a son, creation, and servant of God, to proclaim the decrees of his Father and Lord. In addition, he knows the proclamation, knowledge, and application of these decrees will be a blessing for those who know and apply them. In this verse, we can observe how the Psalmist and Jesus Christ give us the example we must follow.
