Most of the challenges we face every day are minor, but there are some which demand more of us than others. Sometimes, we get frustrated because something doesn’t turn out the way we expected. This leads us to reflect that in our daily walk, we must depend on God for everything. There are challenges that exceed our capacity, time, and abilities. That is why they are intimidating, since we look around and the short vision we have only allows us to see our own resources and not the power that God has to achieve everything He commands us to do. If the Lord sends us to fight giants, we will have David’s slingshot and His backing to win the battle. Don’t be discouraged when the size of what’s in front of you overwhelms you. If He called you, you will have everything you need to be victorious. Do not forget that the honor and glory belongs to the Lord. With Christ Jesus, we are more than conquerors!

The commitment to end Gospel poverty is not negotiable. This phrase changed my life forever and reminds me that the call of the Lord is irrevocable. Let us continue firm in the work, knowing that Jesus sees us!
