Jesus was preparing His disciples for the journey ahead. He defined the message, revealed the path, and gave advice and encouragement. They were given authority to cast out demons and cure diseases, which often drew large crowds. Then, He warned them that they would be pursued by wolves. He advised the disciples to be cunning with the wolves, but harmless with the lost sheep. Years ago, I was taking on a new internal audit, which would verify many customers, partners, and employees. My boss admonished me: “Knowledge is important in this role, but discretion is essential. Remember Matt. 10:16, because unfortunately, there are bad people in this world!” That warning made a substantial difference in my discernment. At the end of the day, God always has all the control in His hands. Flee wisely and approach humbly.

The Haggai Leader Experience (HLE) brought me closer to God. Today I am secure in my faith and in the ministry I carry out through my occupation. I have the courage to talk about Jesus, and this makes people talk to me, opening doors to share the Good News and disciple them. The HLE helped me learn to use my position to influence people.
