I n late 2006, at what was the height of my career I sensed the Lord was calling me to leave my post and prepare for ministry. As a responsible young African man, this was a bad idea! I prayed for clarity, and it was clear that I needed to obey God. In 2007, I was ordained in the U.K., and after that season, I was back in the marketplace while also planting a local church. As we spent the resources we had in buying equipment and renting space for the church plant, it was clear the coming of God’s Kingdom on Earth requires those who will personally and actively seek and do His will. As in many prayers, the Lord calls us as His co-laborers (1 Cor. 3:9) to participate in answering this prayer. What will you do to bring His Kingdom and do His will on Earth today?

Haggai increased my focus on ending Gospel poverty and bringing kingdom influence to bear on the natural systems in our countries with a stronger commitment to raising godly and competent leaders.
