The world going completely crazy is not a surprise for those who have listened to the words of Jesus. In Matt. 24:6-8 (NET Bible), , Jesus guarantees: “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Make sure that you are not alarmed, for this must happen, but the end is still to come. For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginning of birth pains.” All of these things are in the news every day, everywhere, and have been present throughout human history. Jesus takes special care to remind us to not be alarmed. Are you? Don’t be afraid! Jesus is in control of everything. We need to pray and share about who Jesus is and the hope He offers. His Word is “the light that illumines your path.” Praise the Lord!
