A house has a very interesting meaning in Mexican culture. Here we say, “Mi casa tu casa.” It is a way of saying, “Welcome” or “Feel at home here.” In every house there is a door, and through the door one enters the house to know it and to know what is inside. The vision you have from the outside might be one thing, but after going through the door, you can know the details of what is there and how to enjoy each space. The Bible teaches that we are the house and Jesus is the door. We can only really know and live forever in His Kingdom if we understand that Jesus is the door that opens to a new life. There is a decision to make: Get in or stay out! Don’t let fear keep you out. The best chapter of your life is after you walk through this door. Our life takes on a whole new meaning, and we finally see our true destiny, meaning, purpose, and value. That was the abundant life of which Christ spoke. For this, it is enough to enter through the door that saves you and puts you on the path of life.
