Love is an attribute of God that cannot be separated from His being. The Bible makes it clear in 1 John 4:16 that God is love. Whosoever believes in God through Jesus Christ must reflect God’s love to others. In Matt. 22:37-39, we are given the first and second greatest commandments, which are to love God and then to love one’s neighbor as we love ourself. Perfect love is expressed in a triangular plain. God is at the apex of the triangle, and we and our fellow humans are at the base. As we learn to love God with all we are, then we will love others more easily, too. When we are all looking to Him, the ability to love each other as we love ourselves usually falls right into place. By this they will know we are the disciples of Christ, and many will be drawn to our Lord, the source of love.

The equipping I received in Maui in 2012 was a major milestone in re-awakening the calling of God upon my life. The vision to prioritize evangelism in my daily life was renewed. I now know that I do not have to mount the pulpit every Sunday before reaching the lost with the Gospel or fulfilling my ministry. I have come to know that my workplace is my mission field.
