This Scripture resonates deeply as it was an audible word given to me by God my Father, upon the revelation of a hidden family secret, which in our Indian culture is taboo to even mention. This word brought healing to my identity crisis, acceptance of a great love that was truly a blessing, and a newfound appreciation of a wonderful man who I honor, my late great dad, Mr. Dennis Philip. It also reminds me of another great dad in the Bible. This dad was so Godfearing that the angels ministered to him not once, but four times; was responsible as a great provider; was a good example as a pillar of strength and discipline; was accepting in loving his wife deeply and unconditionally; and was so true and transparent that even God trusted him with His most prized possession. Yes — Joseph, Jesus’ earthly father. These fathers would lay down their lives for their children. Today, we thank God, our Abba Father, who predestined us for adoption to Himself as His sons and daughters. He made a way for us to join His family through Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for us. We praise God for His radical, lavish, and Divine love, which makes us full heirs of all His blessings and propels us to willingly lay down our own lives for the sake of others.

After my Haggai Leader Experience, I never felt the Word of God in the same way again. Now it truly feels like a sharp, two-edged sword because it cuts open and lays bare the secrets of the heart. The Bible is an instrument of discernment that comes from the Holy Spirit.
