Nigeria is the world’s most populous black nation with over 200 million people and over 250 distinct ethnic groups. One of the beliefs shared by all ethnic groups is the concept of community — the understanding that human beings were created to live together and help one another. The Bible is also clear about this — the man needed a helpmate, and families, communities, and nations need one another. As Christians we not only enjoy help from fellow humans, we have access to help from God Himself, the One who created all things and knows all things. In John 14:16, Jesus said, “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.” He added in verse 26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.” This is ABSOLUTELY amazing! We have 100% access, 24 hours every single day to the help of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. Hallelujah!
