Let’s say you’re preparing to leave town for a while. Before you go, you make arrangements with family, friends, and colleagues, and trust them to follow through. You edit the automatic response on your email account. Within His context, Jesus did the same on His last night before His death on the cross. But we see in John 14:12 that He delegates more power than He previously demonstrated: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” We’ve read about the great things Jesus did, and yet He is saying that His disciples will do “greater works than these.” The ways of the Kingdom are “out of this world” and we need to be ready to do out of this world things. Jesus desires us to enter the Kingdom of God and see this Kingdom established on earth. This is the answer to the prayer He taught His disciples. Are you ready for it? Am I ready for it?

Vice President of Equipping, Haggai International
When I attended my Haggai Leader Experience in 2008, I was deeply moved and cried many tears in the classroom. I remember crying the most on the subject of reaching Muslims with the Gospel. Since then, I took every opportunity to especially pray for and with Muslims. I have had incredible opportunities to present the Gospel or biblical truth in many senior-level meetings. All this was especially driven by the realization that ministry is not what I do in church, but it is everything I do. Today, I lead the equipping of hundreds (and, God willing, soon over a thousand) each year to do the same.
