Life is full of obstacles. They come in different forms and degrees, but we all experience them. Mark writes about four men who carried a paralyzed man, wanting to bring him to Jesus to receive healing. Jesus was in a house, and a crowd had gathered, leaving no space either in or outside the door for the four to even go near Him. Confronted by a great obstacle, they do the unthinkable: “They removed the roof above Him and let down the bed on which the paralytic lay.” These men were commended for their faith, and the man was healed. When confronted with obstacles that hinder us, there is just one way to go about it – faith in Jesus Christ.
