When I was a child, I talked like a child, reasoned like a child, and depended on my parents for everything. When I was disciplined or asked to do something, I never questioned or doubted my parents, and I always went back to amend and seek forgiveness. Today when I look back, my children have similar characteristics. They do not hold any grudges. It is good to trust God the way a child would trust his good earthly father. Children trust their parents for wisdom, provision, protection, order, and vision. Christians who learn to trust their heavenly Father in the same way will live life abundantly and bear the light yoke of Christ. Let us be Christians who are held up as an ideal of humility, unconcern for social status, and forgiveness. It isn’t in our nature to take the low place and to humble ourselves, but that is the key to the Kingdom of Heaven!
